In Merzlyakovsky Lane the fourth Caucasian cuisine restaurant “Eat Khinkali & Drink Wine” has opened. The new institution expanded the menu, decorated the chairs with Pirosmani’s paintings and replaced the acoustic guitar with a piano. In the summer they will open the veranda.
The network is being developed by Lika Lewin and Arda Tuzhba – they also opened the Laffa Laffa cafe and Khachapuriya.
Arda noted that for all dishes except khachapuri, she is personally responsible. For example, ajapsandali (450 p.) And eggplant with nuts (450 p.) Are prepared according to her recipe. Adzhar boats (450 rubles), achma (430 rubles), and flour in general – this is the work of Grigory Mensheshyan, the brand chef of Khachapuria. If you come to an institution with a large company, order a boat XXL (2500 rubles), its size is really impressive.
Khinkali is cooked traditional: with beef and pepper or greens (75 p. / Pcs.), With lamb (75 p. / Pcs.), With cheese (80 p. / Pcs.). There are options for vegetarians – with potatoes, mushrooms or spinach (all at 65 p. / Pcs.) And sweet with cherries (310 p. / 3 pcs.).
The vast majority of the wine list is from Georgia and Abkhazia: there are sparkling, pink, white and red wines – a complete set. For a change, one drink was added from France, Spain, New Zealand and Italy. The first glass of red sapper and white manavi is poured for 50 rubles. From strong alcohol it is worth paying attention to chacha (500 r. / 50 gr.), It is taken from Abkhazia.
