“Printing House” – the choice of trendsetters in Yekaterinburg!

There are many fashionable places in Yekaterinburg. The demands of intellectual society for clubs and places of recreation are growing daily. It’s hard to surprise the audience now. But one of the recently opened institutions in the city still deserves special attention.
At the end of last year in Yekaterinburg in the building of the former printing house of the newspaper “Ural Worker” an ultrafashionable club or, as the creators call it, “space” was opened. One of the most important monuments of constructivism was preserved by its historical name – “House of the Press”, continuing the tradition of the Moscow “Armagh”, St. Petersburg “House of Life” and other cult entertainment establishments.

“House of Printing” is a multi-genre format establishment. It is simultaneously a cafe with good cuisine, a bar with high-quality sound and fashionable music, and an art space with lectures, film screenings and social events. The creators and ideological inspirers of the “home” position this club as a place focused on an educated fashionable audience who will appreciate minimalism in design, a European approach and the absence of excessive pretentiousness. Representatives of the art environment, business, golden youth, media persons and club regulars are expected to see here.

The founders of the club carefully approached the choice of equipment and automation system. The main requirement for the system was the ability to obtain current information about the financial performance of the business for the operational use of data. That is why iiko was introduced in the institution.

Given the specifics of the institution, high-tech equipment was installed and the most modern solutions were implemented. The project was launched using modern POS-equipment manufactured by Posiflex. As cashier’s jobs, the fanless KS-6715 monoblock model of touch monoblock was selected based on the Intel Atom platform.

“The club was organized in an old building with high humidity, which has not been practically repaired since the printing house was there. That was part of our idea. We chose high-quality equipment that can operate in a fairly aggressive environment. And taking into account the high traffic in our club and the need for uninterrupted operation of the automation system, the important equipment requirements were power and reliability, which distinguish the selected positions from analogues. We focused on quality. ”

Of course, the “trendy” institution could not do without the use of gadgets in work, which once again emphasize the format of the club. Waiters at the Print House work on iPod Touch mobile devices with iikoMobileFront installed on them. The establishment represents a huge space, and this solution helps to efficiently use the waiters. Through the use of “electronic notebooks” significantly reduced time for serving guests. This approach to service, of course, leads to increased customer loyalty and an increase in the average bill.

The integrator company ARBUS is currently implementing the “Quick Bar Inventory” in the club. This solution will allow you to record a large number of items in the bar for a minimum of time, and the owner will be sure that everything works in his institution like a clock.
